Coral Reef Revival

Mission Overview

Safeguarding and restoring critical coral reef ecosystems along the Australian coastline.

Coral reefs are the rainforests of the sea, and they are under immense threat from rising ocean temperatures and pollution. The Coral Reef Revival project focuses on restoring 50 km of degraded reef systems in Australia. We use advanced coral gardening techniques to grow resilient coral fragments in nurseries and transplant them back onto the reef. This effort is vital for maintaining marine biodiversity, protecting coastal areas from erosion, and supporting local fisheries that depend on healthy reef systems.
